3 Squares A Day, Blood, and now, Descent. Tom Walmsley is becoming a main stay at Theatre Passe Muraille, and for good reason.

Having come off of a successful run of 3 Squares A Day this past February, Theatre Passe Muraille is beginning their abbreviated 2006-2007 season with another Tom Walmsley piece, entitled Descent.

According to the press release, Descent focuses on a "doomed poet, and a party animal friend, who are both named Randy, who connect with a woman who is about to step into an unconventional life and marriage. The characters represent the existential longing of that time and the stark choices available to men and women with no faith and no God who have stepped away from the safety and normality and choose to live by instinct."

Kate Lynch, as she did with 3 Squares A Day, directs the production, beginning performances October 21st, for a run through November 19th.

John Blackwood, Deborah Hay, Paul Fauteux, Brendan Murray, and Christopher Morris have been announced as the cast.

Kelly Wolf is the set designer, and Christopher Dennis is the lighting designer.
