Daniel Radcliffe is turning out to be box office gold on screen and on stage.
Equus, the hit play by Peter Schaffer opened in London's West End on February 27th after beginning previews on February 16th.
Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths, the play centres around a young man who becomes obsessed with horses and ends up blinding 6 of them in a rage, and ends up under the care of a psychiatrist, Martin Dysart.
Radcliffe and Griffiths are well known for their roles in the Harry Potter film series. Radcliffe plays the title role, and Griffiths has played Potter's Uncle. Radcliffe recently signed on to star in the final two Potter movies.
Equus is directed by Thea Sharrock.
The cast also features Will Kemp, Jenny Agutter, Joanna Christie, Jonathan Cullen, Colin Haigh, Karen Meagher and Gabrielle Reidy, Greig Cooke, Joel Corpuz, Temujin Gill and Jami Quarrell.
