Evil Dead Returns To Haunt Toronto

Hit musical comes home after run Off-Broadway

Evil Dead: The Musical, which just closed off-Broadway, will come back to where it all started as of May 1st at the Diesel Playhouse.

Prior to heading to New York, Evil Dead played in Toronto and Montreal as part of the Just For Laughs festival.

The story revolves around a group of friends who head to a cabin and are encountered by a group of killer zombies. The musical is based on the cult-favorite movies, Evil Dead and Evil Dead II, directed by Sam Raimi, which starred Bruce Campbell (The Army Of Darkness).

Raimi is well known for his more recent film work, including the first two Spiderman films.

Evil Dead: The Musical begins previews on May 1st at the Diesel Playhouse, in Toronto.
