Kevin Kline, star of such films as "A Fish Called Wanda" and "De-Lovely", will return to the New York stage this fall in Shakespeare's King Lear.
Kline, who has starred in productions of Richard III, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry IV and Hamlet all at the Public Theatre, took part in a workshop production of the play recently, and it was speculated that a full production would be staged sometime in the 2006-2007 season. James Lapine will helm the production, and the full casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
